Mu’awiyah (RA) was successful in ending the destructive civil war era of Islam and his caliphate laid the foundation of the Umayyad Dynasty which operated for ninety years until it was overthrown by the Abbasids. The book is divided into four chapters namely, The Umayyads, Political Skills of Mu’awiyah, The conquests Resumed, and Mu’awiyah and Reforms.
