It's about my mind and my soul despite feeling they have been empty, hollow and blank at times. Although this book rests between my hands, concrete and solid but I still can't believe how it came into existence. How I forged this wilderness into some metropolis. The body of this book. How did I endure the transition from not wanting to get out of bed to writing a God damn book? Despite having made the journey, I still question whether my book is worth reading or whether it deserves to hold its place on these very shelves but these are questions which I can't answer. The responsibility rests solely on my readers to open my eyes to the truth they find between these pages. I still have a long way to go and a lot to figure out, many more days to follow through and many discoveries about my true self to be made. For I've just put together the pieces of my heart and burrow the past where I broke my self. And when I create something so colossal out of some mere words. What we call poetry. That my fractured heart wrings out here, in the pages of my book, is nothing but the death of it. Furthermore, at this point of my life, I understand that I might not get the answers to everything, and even though that realization used to unsettle me before but I think I finally might have made my peace with knowing that there are some things beyond my control and understanding ...
